Description
The Competition Authority issued an enforcement decision giving its view that, for the purposes of Irish and EC competition law, certain specified agreements between pay-TV service providers and developers for the provision of pay-TV service and infrastructure to apartment developments do not infringe competition law.
The Competition Authority has also issued a Guidance Note providing helpful information and guidance to apartment residents and prospective apartment buyers in respect of pay-TV exclusivity and their ability to switch pay-TV providers in apartment developments.
