In July 2002 the Competition Act, 2002 came into force. This legislation empowers the Competition Authority to make offical decisions in a number of areas and to publish certain documents. Please click on the links below for further details.
Between 1991 and 2002 the Competition Authority was empowered to review and make official decisions on agreements under the Competition Acts of 1991 and 1996.
