EU & International Work of the Competition Authority

The Competition Authority’s international role stems mainly from its role in enforcing European Union competition law alongside the European Commission and national competition authorities in other Member States. As part of our work, we are involved in the activity of three European organisations.
International
We also represent Ireland at the OECD Competition Committee and we participate voluntarily in the International Competition Network.
