The Competition Authority has co-operation agreements with various statutory bodies. These agreements facilitate co-operation, avoid duplication and ensure consistency between our actions and those of other statutory bodies. The agreements are available below.
Cooperation Agreement between the Competition Authority and ComReg
The Commission for Communications Regulation ("ComReg") has competition powers in the area of electronic communications services, electronic communications networks or associated facilities. The Authority and ComReg have a cooperation agreement which facilitates the exercise of the two authorities competition powers (see link below).
